To celebrate the 100th batch of our very first gin, Kirkjuvagr Origin, we’ve created the Centennial Edition, presented in its original branding. This release honours the gin that began our journey into craft spirits.
Our Co-director, Tony Reeman-Clark, distilled that very first batch and helped craft the recipe that has shaped every Kirkjuvagr gin since. His signature appears on each bottle, making it not only a unique offering but also a potential collector’s piece.
When developing Origin’s recipe, we uncovered a local legend of a variety of Angelica said to have been brought to Orkney by Norsemen centuries ago. Alongside Borage, Ramanas and Burnet Rose, this distinctive ingredient remains central to our botanical blend.
We recommend serving Origin over plenty of ice, with Fever Tree's Indian Tonic and a slice of dehydrated orange to garnish.
