The Latitude 59 Club offers a distinctive and exclusive whisky investment opportunity, providing members with more than just a financial stake - it delivers an immersive and personal experience.
Unlike conventional whisky investments, members become shareholders in the company, securing ownership of one of the first 59 100-litre casks to be produced at The Orkney Distillery. This unique combination of cask ownership and shareholding presents the potential for returns that may offset the cost of membership within 5 to 10 years.
Shareholder benefits include:
- An annual visit to Orkney, which includes one Distillery dinner and two nights’ local accommodation for each member and one guest.
- A unique bottle of the first new Orkney single malt whisky in 140 years — a true collector’s item. Bottle #1 will go to the first member of the Latitude 59 Club and in sequence thereafter.
- A welcome pack upon joining, which includes a 20cl sample of the new-make spirit that went into their cask, a set of 6 whisky glasses, a signed print from a local artist and a bottle of our peated and non-peated blended malt whisky.

As a member and shareholder, you will own one of the first 59 100-litre casks produced at the distillery.
The Latitude 59 Club sets itself apart with a comprehensive cost structure - all costs related to your cask, including storage, bottling, duty, and VAT, are fully covered by the distillery. This allows members to enjoy the benefits of cask ownership without the usual complexities or hidden expenses.
Members can choose from an ex-sherry, European oak or American oak cask, peated or unpeated. Each 100-litre cask, maturing in 2030, yields over 120 bottles at cask strength, exclusively labelled for the Latitude 59 Club and signed by the Head Distiller.
Annually, members will receive a 70cl bottle and a 10cl miniature from their cask, allowing them to see and taste the maturation of their cask. Each 70cl bottle will be displayed in custom packaging which forms the panoramic artwork of the set.
